If you don't want to dirty up the pages of your perfectly graded original comics you can also have these read to you while you follow along in a reprint such as a Marvel Masterworks or Omnibus collection. I've tried the latter and it fits just right, however the booming TURN THE PAGE narration will be off every other page... That is IF you want to break through this LPs sweet sweet original shrinkwrap! Record Grading is as follows. Marvel Age Comic Spectaculars Series.
Record reads Introducing The Might Thor. Vinyl, being SEALED, is assumed to be MINT. Obviously never played, never removed from sleeve FACTORY SEALED. If for any reason vinyl is not mint, you'd have to take that up with 1960s Marvel. Jacket is VG+, a few tears to shrink wrap on front cover; one tear about 3 inches in diameter near center of front cover, one skinny little hole at top edge, one small tear at left edge. There is a little piece of a very old price sticker still stuck in the top right corner. There is visible wear to corners and a few small spots of light discoloration from age along top edge of back cover.
Nothing serious, all totally normal wear for a 54 year old record. Quick note on the comic: It is SHRINK-WRAPPED to the back of the record. The book has never been removed, being sealed in and all, so it is UNGRADED, with that said I think it looks pretty darn good so PLEASE do look at the pictures and see for yourself! Please note, I grade conservatively and by the Goldmine standard, here is what you can expect..For the MINT / SEALED vinyl. Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played / still sealed, used sparingly as a grade. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. WITH ALL THIS SAID if you have a Crosley or other budget turntable that comes in a suitcase, there is a chance with this, and every record really, that the tone arm, being the weak little thing it is, might bounce off, this is not a sign of a deficient record, this is an issue with the turntable. If you encounter this problem a penny taped to the top of the head of your tone arm generally fixes that right up. Please see pictures & let me know if you have any questions. I have NEVER seen this LP / comic combo sell SEALED before and such I don't know it's true going rate so OFFERS ARE WELCOME! Let's MAKE A DEAL!
